About This Role

Build reliable data pipelines and analytics platforms that power product insights and ML.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of data engineering
  • Python proficiency for ETL and orchestration
  • Distributed processing with Spark or Flink
  • Workflow orchestration with Airflow or Dagster
  • SQL excellence with warehouse modeling in BigQuery Snowflake or Redshift
  • Data modeling using dbt and the medallion or star schema patterns
  • Streaming ingestion with Kafka or Pub Sub
  • Data quality testing with Great Expectations
  • File formats including Parquet and Delta
  • IaC for data stacks using Terraform
  • Experience with governance and PII handling

Responsibilities

  • Design batch and real time pipelines
  • Own data contracts and SLAs
  • Create versioned datasets and lineage
  • Partner with analytics and ML on features
  • Control costs through partitioning and clustering
  • Improve developer ergonomics for data platform
